Etowah Sheriff Charities
Etowah Sheriff’s Charities is a 501 ( c )(3) non-profit organized exclusively for charitable and educational purposes, more specifically to strengthen, support, and enhance citizens and organizations in Etowah County by making a positive difference in our Community.
The mission of Etowah Sheriff’s Charities is carried out by employees of the Etowah County Sheriff’s Office.

Charity Golf Tournament
Etowah Sheriff's Charities is hosting a charity golf tournament in partnership with the Gadsden Country Club on Monday, April 6, 2015. The four player scrambel will begin at 11:30 a.m. with registration and lunch. Tee-off time is set for 1:00 p.m.
Cost per team is $300 or $75 per individual player. This includes 18-holes of golf, riding cart, lunch, a Dry Zone polo shirt (embroidered), gift bag and chances to win various door prizes.
Prizes will also be given for the longest drive, closest to the pin and hol-in-one. Cash prizes will be given to the 1st ($400), 7th ($300) and 18th ($200) place teams.
Golf attire is required (collared shirt and shorts/slacks). No steel spikes are allowed on the course.
All proceeds from the event will benefit Operation Christmas Cheer. Operation Christmas Cheer provides Christmas to more than 25 children in need in Etowah County.
Registration forms should be completed, along with registration fee, and mailed to Etowah Sheriff's Charities, 827 Forrest Avenue, Gadsden, Alabama 35901. Registration will close when maximum capacity is reached with 20, four-person teams.

"The Bull Ride" Cycling Event
Come join us as we cycle through the beautiful country-side of the Coosa Valley. This bike ride will begin at the Etowah County Fairgrounds and take you through two of Alabama's most scenic counties.
Your registration fee covers rider support (mechanical and medical) along with rest stops, water and refreshments along each route. A post-ride meal will also be provided at the finish line.
The ride starts at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 9, 2015. Registration will open at 6:30 a.m. the day of the event and close at 7:45 a.m.
Pre-registration is $25. Anyone can sign up by clicking on the link below to mail in a registration form or visit www.active.com or www.runsignup.com and search for "The Bull Ride" Cycling Event - Etowah Sheriff's Charities. Registration is $30 day of the event. Forms should be completed , along with registration fee, and mailed to Etowah Sheriff's Charities, 827 Forrest Avenue, Gadsden, Alabama 35901.
It is recommended that all participants check the weather and wear appropriate clothing for conditions as the ride will go on, rain or shine.
Helmets are required by all riders. For safety of all riders, no music devices will be allowed (i.e. iPods, mp3s, etc.).
Early packet pick up will be held on Friday, May 8, 2015, at the Etowah County Sheriff's Office from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday evening at the Etowah County Fairgrounds.

All participants will receive a custom belt buckle finishers medal and free ticket to Friday night's rodeo. The Etowah County Sheriff's Mounted Unit Rodeo will be held Friday and Saturday night, May 8-9, 2015, at the Etowah County Fairgrounds. The rodeo begins at 8:00 p.m. nightly.
