(Etowah County, Alabama) Two individuals have been arrested and charged with burglary in Altoona, according to Sheriff Todd Entrekin.
“Cynthia Renae Honea, 32, and Ryan Neal Honea, 21, both of Boaz, are each charged with three counts of first degree theft of property, one count of second degree theft of property and two counts of third degree burglary, all are felonies,” says Investigator Ben Greene.
Cynthia and her nephew Ryan allegedly broke into two houses on October 30, 2013. The incidents occurred at homes located on Little Cove Road and Warrior Valley Road, Altoona.
Various items such as a four-wheeler, multiple tools, an archery bow, a television, digital camera, cookware and several guns were taken from the properties. Only a few items have been recovered at this time.
Warrants have been obtained for a third suspect in the case. If you know the whereabouts of Bobby Shane Smalley, 28, of Arab, please contact Investigator Ben Greene at 256-546-2825.
Cynthia and Ryan are currently being detained in the Etowah County Detention Center on $60,000 cash bond each.
