(Etowah County, Alabama) A Gadsden man has been arrested in connection to an assault, according to Sheriff Todd Entrekin.
“James Curtis Watts, 44, of Gadsden, was arrested and charged with one count of second degree assault, which is a felony,” investigator VaShaunda Ragland said.
Watts allegedly assaulted 15 year-old victim when he grabbed the teen by the throat and eventually shot him in the leg with a BB gun. The victim sustained minor injuries to the throat and leg.
Watts was booked into the Etowah County Detention Center and later released on $2,500 bond.
