Criminal Mischief Arrest
(Etowah County, Alabama) A Piedmont man has been arrested in connection to criminal mischief, according to Sheriff Todd Entrekin.
“Lamar Ray McGatha, 55, of Piedmont, was arrested and charged with one count of first degree criminal mischief, which is a felony,” investigator Jeremy Lasseter said.
McGatha allegedly tossed diesel fuel onto a truck and set it on fire then ran from the scene of the incident. The incident happened in the area of Rock Ford Road and transpired after a recent ‘lover’s quarrel’.
McGatha was booked into the Etowah County Detention Center and later released on a $2,500 bond.
